The long-pending demand for special category status for Andhra Pradesh has taken a political twist with Jana Sena Party Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan’s public meeting in Tirupati.
Pawan Kalyan had asked the Centre not to look at some rich MPs of TDP and deny special status to AP and he slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for failing to get special status for the state.
He said,” I will fight for special status till the end, If we fight for our rights we will get special status for Andhra Pradesh”.
This public meeting created political ripples across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Political parties are now investigating for the Invisible political force behind Pawan Kalyan’s Tirupati meeting.
Earlier, When ex-CM of Karnataka met Pawan Kalyan at his residence, Pawan stated that he alone can’t do anything for get special status and within three days he declared war for achieving special status.
According to media intellectuals, BJP is invisible political force, reportedly behind Pawan Kalyan as BJP don’t want to give all the credit to Chandrababu’s government over special status issue. BJP reportedly has a long term strategy behind this political meeting of Pawan Kalyan.
Firstly BJP wants Pawan Kalyan to plunge into action for special status before according it and it will make an alliance with Jana Sena in coming 2019 general elections to fight for the power in AP. BJP believes that joining hands with Jagan’s YSRCP will give it corruption stains and nothing else.
