ICJ verdict on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case

jadhavThe International Court of Justice (ICJ) will on Thursday gave its ruling on India’s appeal to stay the execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a former Indian Navy officer sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court for alleged espionage.

The ICJ on Thursday asked Pakistan not to execute alleged spy Kulbushan Jadhav pending its final decision.

ICJ President Ronny Abraham said Pakistan cannot execute Kulbhushan Jadhav till international court rules on the case. The court unanimously decides that Pakistan shall take all measures at its disposal so that Kulbushan Jadhav is not executed.
