I waited for 8 years to debut in Tamil: Ram

If Ram doesn’t jump at every offer in Telugu, where he commands good market, he cannot be expected to be anything but very choosy and clever when it comes to debuting in Tamil.  Quite expectedly, he waited for a good eight years before he latched on to Karunakaran’s script.  Yen Endral Kadhal Enben, the bi-lingual twin of Endukante Premanta, is the film with which he is debuting as a hero in Tamil.

It may be said that though this is technically his maiden venture, he was near to hitting the purple patch when someone like Gautham Menen approached him with the script of Yemaindi Ee Vela.  Ram, thus, has the potential to bag a film or two soon fater the release of YEKE.

Coming to the film, Ram has remarked that YEKE is different from Endukante Premanta at several places.  Care has been taken to adapt the lines and depiction of a myriad of emotions to give a tinge of Tamil nativity to the film.  The film is all set to hit the screens in May in both Tamil and Telugu.
