University of Hyderabad Interim Vice Chancellor Vipin Srivastava expects normalcy in the university in one or two days.
For last 11 days, students of the varsity are protesting over research scholar Rohith Vemula’s suicide after he was been suspended by authorities.
JAC of the student groups continued their protest for 11th day and some faculty members also launched hunger strike . They are demanding resignation of Vice Chancellor Appa Rao and also want Srivastava to step down .
The varsity has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.8 lakh to the family of Rohith. Congress party also announced a help to 5 Lakhs to Rohith family.
While a section of students are ready for a dialogue to bring the normalcy in the varsity.
