Hyderabad Metro would be first in India to use an advanced Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) technology. The trains running on three corridors will be controlled and monitored from state-of-the-art Operation Control Centre (OCC) at Uppal.
Hyderabad Metro Rail gets the final safety clearance, HMR is the world’s largest elevated Metro Rail PPP project based on DBFOT basis. Expected to carry about 15 lakh passengers by 2016-17 covering 71.16 Km. It promises to ensure citizens enjoy beautiful views of the city during the ride.
