High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad has suspended nine more judges after suspending two judges over protests by Telangana state judges.
Today morning Chief Justice of High Court has suspended judges Radha Krishna Chauhan, Ramakant and Tirupati, for supporting the ongoing agitations by Telangana advocates. Later 6 more were suspended, taking the total to 11 since yesterday.
Yesterday Telangana Judges Association president K. Ravinder Reddy and secretary Varaprasad have been suspended.
Several lawyers staged a protest at the high court premises and also raised slogans `Andhra Judges go back’. They also submitted mass resignations to protest the allotment of Andhra origin judges to subordinate courts in Telangana. About 130 officers of Andhra nativity were allotted to Telangana
