Huge turnout in Nandyal bye-elections

nandyalPolling in the by-election to Nandyal constituency in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday is going on peacefully.

Long queues were seen when polling booths opened at 7 a.m. By 1 pm the voting percent touched 50 and by 3 pm it touched 72%.

Over 2.19 lakh voters are eligible to exercise their franchise at 255 centres.

With this kind of turnout, Any one of among the two candidate TDP Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy and YSRCP Silpa Mohan Reddy is likely to get good majority.
