High Drama at Vizianagaram

High Drama Continues at Vizianagaram as
TDP president and Opposition leader Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu convoy was detained near Vizianagaram borders by the police. He had landed in the district to lead the partys campaign against liquor syndicates of the transport minister and PCC president.

However the TDP president defied the Prohibitory order orders, cut across the barricades and drove towards the coastal town. ‘It is a shame that the local SP has surrendered to the highhanded acts of the Transport minister and PCC president. We will make the bandh and dharna successful at any cost’ said Chandrababu Naidu adding that there has never been such abuse of authority by those in power ever.
Meanwhile the SP had permitted the Congress district unit to set up protest dharna platform near the district collect orate office. The TDP president and the local SP  exchanged heated words and Sri Chandrababu Naidu finally gained entry into Vizianagaram town.

Vizianagaram TDP leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju ridiculed the  congress govt for detaining  the opposition party leaders who were democratically campaigning against liquor syndicates. It is a shame that  the police are trying to place hurdles in protest dharna of  TDP.

Meanwhile the local media reported that the SP had given permission to district congress committee to set up public meeting and dharna tent near the district collectorate. Police had also sealed all roads to District Collectorate and also armed police were posted every where besides shutting down petrol bunks.
