Heritage Milk banned in Kerala

Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu owned Heritage Foods (India) Limited and their milk products are banned in Kerala. The Government of Kerala has quoted the reason for ban as presence of excess formalin in their Milk products. This chemical causes cancer and other health problems. They have also banned two more popular milk brands for similar presence of excess chemicals. Government has conducted several lab tests before announcing the decision. Actually Heritage Milk is delivered to Kerala through Tamil Nadu.

 Heritage Milk Packing center is located at Dundigal in Tamilnadu under the name of Heritage Padmanabha. All the three varieties of milk; pasteurized, homogenized and standardized supplied to Kerala from Dundigal has those chemical components. Kerala Government has also wrote a letter to Tamilnadu Food Safety Commissioner to verify the purification and packaging methods followed at the source. Actually Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari has investments worth Rs. 19.95 Crores in Heritage Foods.
