H-1B Premium Processing suspended

h1bH1-B visa application process in the US is going to begin. USCIS has revealed that H1-B visa applications will be received by April 2. USCIS will temporarily suspend premium processing for all H-1B petitions. This suspension lasts for 2019 fiscal year.

Indian IT professionals mostly go to America through these visas. Companies in the United States are hiring hundreds of technology experts from countries like India and China with H1-B visas.

Premium processing is cancelled for 2019 fiscal year, but for 2018 fiscal year the with a premium processing will continue until September 10, 2018. The USCIS has stated that people will be informed of any changes in this premium processing. To reduce the scrutiny of H1-B visa applications they have temporarily suspending premium processing.

According to USCIS, Indians have filed 2.2 million applications for HS1B visas between 2007 and 2017. China is next with over 3 Lakh applications.
