Gundu Hanumantha Rao is No more

gunduTelugu comic actor Gundu Hanumantha Rao, known for his character in TV serial Amrutham, died on Monday morning at 61 years old. He was heart and kidney infirmities and was undergoing treatment.

He died in the wee hours at his home in SR Nagar, Hyderabad. He was confronting a money related emergency, following which the state government and Chiranjeevi approached to help with his treatment costs.

He acted in about 400 movies and got three Nandi state grants. He made debut in 1987 with Jandhyala’s famous film Aha Na Pellanta.

He acted in films like Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha, Rajendradu Gajendradu, Mayaloodu, Jodi No.1, Nenu Seetamahalakshmi, Kedi No.1, Apparao Driving School, Kalyanam, Original, Neramu Siksha, High School, Kothoka Vintha, Colors, Panchamukhi, Sri Sai Sankalpam, Mano Balam and other.
