Information Technology industry giant Google took an initiative to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Digital India, Startup India, and Skill India initiatives.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai made an announcement focused on small business and startups in India. Since Small and Medium Businesses are the backbone of the Indian economy and are powering the next wave of the country’s growth.
Google made an announcement related to Digital Unlocked platform. This is basically an online learning tool for SMBs and startups, and it is certified by Google, FCCI, and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Google plans to impart 5,000 training workshops in 40 cities in three years. Any small business can sign up.
The global search giant also started another initiative ‘My Business Website’. It is a free tool, which would help make a website in 10 minutes. Available in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
