Nagarjuna is considered to be one of the fittest Tollywood actors. And it was only but time that the younger generation began taking lessons on fitness from him.
‘Abhiyum Naanum’ actor Ganesh Venkataraman, who is currently working on the film ‘Damarukam’ alongside Nag, has confessed that he has taken tips on fitness from the veteran actor. “I am awestruck by Nag sir’s discipline when it comes to his body. Be it his diet or his workout, he sets an example. He is also well read and extremely knowledgeable about fitness,” says Ganesh.
The actor says that he has fitness was a major conversation starter with Nag on the sets. “While shooting for ‘Damarukam’, in between shots we would extensively discuss fitness. I have seen a lot of actors suffer from injuries during action shoots and dance sequences. I myself have had a few injuries filming action stunts in the past. Nag sir literally took me under his wing. He shared his entire workout, strength training routine and his diet with me to the most minute detail. I even took down notes. I feel truly enlightened. I am putting all his tips to practice and I am seeing the results already,” says Ganesh.
