The latest release Gabbar Singh is being touted as the biggest blockbuster of the season. While that is fine, here is something which has caught the attention of many. It is the issue of the dubbing rights. Sources say offers for nearly Rs 50 lakhs is coming for the Hindi dubbing rights.
Ironically, Gabbar Singh is the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ but still the demand for the dubbing rights is reportedly high. Sources say more than the theatrical value, it is for the TV market this offer is being made. There is also a talk in north that Gabbar Singh is better than ‘Dabangg’.
This has resulted in a high quote. Usually, the best offer for a noted movie hangs anywhere between Rs 15 lakhs – Rs 20 lakhs but it is heard that enquiries for Gabbar Singh are coming with this price. If this be true then Pawan Kalyan would be setting a new trend for Telugus in Hindi circuit.
