First bail in Emaar case!

The CBI Special Court, Nampally has today granted an unconditional bail to GV Vijay Raghav, an accused in Emaar properties scam. While granting bail, the court asked Vijay Raghav to produce two sureties and deposit Rs 1 lakh. Earlier, Vijay Raghav’s counsel said that his client was ready to abide by any condition imposed by court to grant the bail. However, the CBI counsel opposed the bail petition stating that he might influence the witnesses if granted bail.

Vijay Raghav’s counsel claimed that he was innocent and has nothing to do with the case. The counsel also said that his client would extend full cooperation to the CBI and disclose whatever information he had with him.
