Facts about Pawan Kalyan’s ‘CGR’ Dasaradharam real life

Dasaradharam, the senior journalist character in Pawan Kalyan’s  ” Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu”  is based on journalist Pingali Dasaradharam  who gave a new definition for Journalism in Andhra Pradesh by doing spy operations with hidden cams.

Pingali Dasaradharam was the grand son of Pingali Venkayya garu, who designed our national flag. Dasaradhraram introduced investigative journalism in India.

Dasaradhram during prohibition time when NTR was ruling the state . He took pictures of prohibited liquor from a go down which tends to be Media baron Ramoji Rao and published it in ‘Encounter ‘ magazine. It became a sensational news  in those days . Later he published NTR’s kshudra poojalu photos openly . Later He was later killed in a lorry accident when he was travelling on cycle.  “Eenadu” never carried any editorial when journalist Pingali Dasaradha Ram was killed in early hours in Vijayawada.
