New twist in Director Puri Jagannadh’s claims of being attacked by film distributors case. The director can land in trouble if the complaint lodged by him in Jubilee Hills police station , proves to be a false case.
The Loafer director had lodged a complaint with the police saying that distributors Abhishek Nama, Kaali Sudheer and Mutyala Ramdas forced their way into his home and also manhandled him and threatened him with dire consequences if he didn’t compensate them for losses .
The three distributors, Abhishek — who bought the distribution rights for Nizam and the other two came before media to say that, the have not even called the director on phone , nor went to the Puri’s house .They just have lodged a complaint with the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce , informing that they have incurred losses.
They demanded Puri who is always under high security like Surveillance, should come up with proofs like CCTV footage , which can prove the alleged guilty. They said , they would also file a defamation case against the director for false complaint against them.
They even said, C. Kalyan, is shocked with the allegations and said it is not right on Puri’s part to give such a complaint against distributors and . Kalyan is in Chennai and would soon come to Hyderabad to resolve this issue.
