Star producer Dil Raju expressed unhappiness with the way things are progressing with regard to movie collections and records in the industry. The ace producer said that declaring collections is a publicity stunt to lure the public and the collections of only a few movies are true and transparent.Dil Raju elucidates that we need a minimum of Rs.40 crores to complete a film with star hero, and it’s pretty tough to break even. So where’s the question of profit? We need to bring down the production cost.
When asked what the opportunities the upcoming aspirants have, the successful producer said that talent is what matters and if you talented then sky is the limit for you.
Observers say, Dil Raju is supposed to be the producer of Mahesh Babu’s “Seethamma Vakilo Sirimalle Chettu”, this comments will effect the movie business as no buyer will come forward to buy the movie.
