City Cyber Crime Police arrested four youths for being involved in cheating unemployed youth through online job fraud business, here today. The accused– Sameer Ahmed Khan, Yandamuri Durga Prasad, Tenali Srikanth and Shanmugham Avinash, were running online job fraud business, cheating educated unemployed youth who wished to enter reputed companies through back door. They would lure the gullible through advertisements on various websites, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Mr Anurag Sharma said in a release here.
The accused, all below 23 years and residents of Hyderabad Secunderabad, would collect huge amount from the unemployed youth by offering them fake offer letters. Based on a complaint received from Y Venkateshwar Reddy, an engineering graduate two-days back, over the online job fraud business, police conducted a investigation to trace fraudsters. On credible information, the police apprehended the accused Yendamuri Durga Prasad, coach in gym in the city, the Commissioner said. During interrogation, he confessed that under the leadership of the Sameer Ahmed Khan, a B Com graduate and with support of 10th class student Srikanth and Avinash, he started giving advertisements in OLX.in and other websites and lure unemployed youth on the name of backdoor entries in reputed software companies
