Court denies supplying copies of suppl charge sheets to accused

The Principal Sessions Court of CBI at Nampally today rejected handing over the supplementary charge sheet to Jagathi Publication Vice-Chairman Vijay Sai Reddy in the alleged disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The CBI had filed the supplementary chargesheet in the CBI court related to the case yesterday. The CBI Judge A Pullaiah had passed the orders after Vijay Sai Reddy’s counsel filed a memo for issuing the copy of supplementary charge sheet. Similarly, the CBI Judge also rejected of giving copies of supplementary charge sheet filed by the CBI yesterday in the Emaar scam to IAS officer B P Acharya, G Venkata Vijaya Raghav, Finance head, South of Emaar MGF Land, and Sunil Reddy distant relative of Kadapa Lok Sabha MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy after their advocates filed memos in the court. However, the Judge permitted them to go through the supplementary chargesheet in the court if necessary. The Court had permitted to give copy of supplementary charge sheet in the Emaar case to another accused and Trimex Group Chairman Koneru Praad on his request.
