Court acquits 10 accused in Hyderabad bomb blast case

hyderabad-bomb-blastHyderabad’s Nampally court on Thursday acquitted all 10 accused in the 2005 Hyderabad bomb blast case in which Home Guard was killed and another injured when a suicide bomber from Bangladesh blew himself up at the Task Force office in Begumpet.

The Metropolitan Sessions Court acquitted them due to lack of evidence. Special Investigation Team claimed that Harkatul Jihad-e-Islami of Bangladesh was involved in the blast. The suicide bomber was identified as HUJI activist Dalin.

SIT arrested Mohammed Abdul Zahid, Abdul Kaleem, Shakeel, Syed Haji, Ajmal Ali Khan, Azmat Ali, Mahmood Baroodwala, Shaik Abdul Khaja, Nafees Biswas and Bilaluddin and filed charge sheets against them. But due to lack of evidence, court acquitted all the 10 accused in a case.
