Congress leaders complains on Govt failures

congressTelangana Pradesh Congress Committee met the Governor E S L Narasimhan and appealed for his intervention over a cash crunch in the state.

Congress Leaders, Uttam Kumar Reddy, K. Jana Reddy, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, ex-PCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Kishan Kheth Mazdoor Congress chairman M. Kodanda Reddy, Geetha Reddy, Chinna Reddy and D.K. Aruna, MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, ex-union minister T. Balram Naik and former minister Danam Nagender have submitted a memorandum to the Governor.

They alleged that Government failures in the agriculture sector are directly responsible for increasing farmers suicides in Telangana State.

They said Banks are not allowing farmers to withdraw money deposited by the government for procurement of raw material, citing lack of cash. Farmers who require that money to invest in Kharif 2017 are depending on the private loans.
