CM reviews over poll debacle with PCC chief, Ministers

After nearly 15-days of the by-poll results in which YSR Congressparty secured 15 assembly seats out of 18, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today convened a review meetingwith Pradesh Congress Committee President Botsa Satyanarayana and six other Ministers at his Camp Office over the party drubbing in the recent by-elections. In the meeting, the Ministers, who were appointed to look into by-elections in constituencies, opined that the party has failed in effectively tackling the campaign of YSRCongress party. The government has to appoint a committee with ministers to popularize the government schemes and programmes to taking them before the doorsteps of people, the Minister stated. The YSR Congress party benefitted in the by-elections by claiming the government schemes adopted during the period former chief Minister late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the father of YSR Congressparty Chief Jaganmohan Reddy, the Minister pointed out and added the government should create awareness among people over the schemes and programmes launched by YSR belonged to the Congress government.
