CM KCR reviews rain affected Hyderabad situation

kcr-delhiHeavy downpour in Hyderabad led to waterlogging of roads, inundation of colonies, low lying areas especially slums and traffic jams in the city .

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is in the National Capital, reviewed the situation in the state, from New Delhi. Several areas in the state have also experienced heavy rains.

CM instructed GHMC officials to shift people living in low-lying areas to safer locations. He instructed Police Dept and GHMC officials to coordinate relief measures.

KCR spoke to GHMC officials and other Sr Govt officials and instructed them to take necessary relief measures immediately. He also gave directions to officials to take all precautionary measures in view of the heavy rain forecast for next 48 Hrs.

Area like  Nizampet, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, Moosapet ,Balapur,Qutbullapur, Alwal and Begumpet and other low lying areas were badly affected by the rain .The GHMC Commissioner also alerted people of low lying areas.
