In another development, Telangana CID have arrested one more accused in the EAMCET-II paper leakage case.
Ramesh alias Shaik Raheem,(52) native of Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, has been taken into custody. Ramesh collected Rs. 1.73 crore from the parents of the 14 students , paid Rs 1.2 crore to a broker who took students to Pune where they were given practice with a leaked question paper. Ramesh also deposited Rs 15 lakh in his friends’ bank account . Police seized Rs 37.5 lakh from his possession.
Earlier, A broker Rajagopal Reddy was arrested and also Vishnuvardhan and Thirumal Rao ,who contacted students, parents and took about 25 of them to Bangalore.
