After her friend Anushka Shetty tasted success with Arundhati, Charmi is all set to test Kollywood waters with Shivangi, a dubbed version of her Telugu hit Mangala. The trendsetting horror film tells the story of an actor possessed by evil spirits and involves black magic too. Apart from slick direction, the film also stands out for the first rate performance by Charmi. “It was one of the most challenging roles of my career and I worked hard to get that over-the-top performance in the climax. I hope the Tamil audience likes it,” said the actor, who feels that Tamil buffs are game for variety and success of different films like Arundhati, Magadheera and Eega, vouches for it.
