Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emulated the need for inclusive growth through skill development & capacity building at 3rd BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) global Mega Event.
Chandrababu Naidu said, urbanisation is facing problems like Pollution and Slums as the cities were developed without proper planning . The center has taken up Swachh Bharat Program to reduce such problems.
The country is developing in fast pace, the economic growth has also improved. Prime Minister narendra Modi is striving hard to develop the country by toring in foreign countries.
By 2050 , Most of the population in the country will live in Urban areas, Andhra Pradesh is also giving importance to Urbanisation . By 2022 , AP would be one among three developed states in the country .
Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu today inaugurated the BRICS global meet on urbanization in Visakhapatnam .The conference to discuss about separate urban finance system and creation of employment opportunities, inclusive housing and informal economies, climate change, resilient water and sanitation management, challenges in city planning, public health ,waste management ,new towns and regional planning .
