Addressing the inaugural session of TRS 15th Plenary in Khammam on Wednesday, the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao allaged that Andhra Pradesh counterpart, N Chandrababu Naidu is creating hurdles in water irrigation.
He said, TRS 14 long years statehood fight was for Funds, Jobs and water and except irrigation waters, other goals were achieved. He said, 250 Gurukul schools and colleges will be launched , the government will build 2 lakh double bedroom houses for poor .
However He said, obstructions created by successive governments before bifurcation and later by Chandrababu Naidu to draw the State’s share of irrigation waters.He accused the previous governments of deliberately attempting to deprive the region of irrigation projects.
KCR govt fixed a target to irrigate one crore acres which the help of several projects including, Kaleshwaram project ,Lower Penganga project .
Wide range of subjects including Mission Bhageeratha, Mission Kakatiya, two-bedroom housing scheme, irrigation projects, etc were addressed by the CM.
