Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said , he would bare all the expenses of Chandi Yagam, to be performed at his farmhouse in the Medak district between December 23 and 27 . Not a single paise would be spent from Telangana government’s exchequer and all the money would be borne by him.
President, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya, Supreme Court Judges Justice N V Ramana and Justice J Chelameswar, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were invited for the yagam.
All arrangements were made for the Yagam, About 2,000 other pundits would take part in it. About 50,000 people would be served with food during the ‘yagam’.
