Naga Chaitanya is gearing up to step into the shoes of his father Nagarjuna, in the remake of ‘Hello Brother’ . This movie turned to be a block buster in early 90’s.
Nagarjuna had impressed everyone as a street-smart robber and a soft-spoken musician. Now director Srinivas Reddy, who made it to the big league with the superhit ‘Damarukam’, is planning to cast Naga Chaitanya in the remake. He is currently busy tweaking the original script to give it a contemporary feel.
“The director is also planning to remix two of the original numbers ‘Kanne Pittaro’ and ‘Priyaragale’. He intends to rope in Samanta and Tamanna to star opposite Naga Chaitanya,” says a source. Srinivas Reddy, however, plays it safe and says, “Naga Chaitanya is doing a double role, but we are not remaking his father’s film.”
