After announcing Special Package to Andhra Pradesh , the center has taken a further step to give tax incentives to seven districts in the state.
The government of India’s governing body ,Central Board of Direct Taxes – CBDT notifies seven districts of Andhra Pradesh for availing tax incentives under the Income-tax Act.
The seven districts of Andhra Pradesh that are notified as backward areas are Anantapur, Chittoor, Cuddapah,Kurnool, Srikakulam, Vishakhapatnam, Vizianagaram.
With Tax incentives, there would be an encouragement of economic activity in these backward regions. Investments will flow to set up companies which can lead to new job opportunities and increase the Standard of living of the people.
