Case booked against Aradhana’s parents

rp_jain-girl-300x157.jpgHyderabad Police on Sunday booked parents of a 13-year-old Jain girl who died here last week after a 68-day long fast.

First Information Report was registered on the death of 13-year-old Aradhana ‘s parents Laxmi Chand and Manshi following a complaint by Balala Hakkula Sangham president Achuta Rao.

He alleged that Laxmi Chand and Manshi and other community members forced the girl to undergo a fasting because their jewellery business is not going well .

Laxmi Chand condemned these allegations saying No father wants her daughter to die. She had performed this ritual earlier too. Aradhana – a student of Saint Francis, and resident of Pot Bazaar area in Secunderabad
