Car strikes pedestrians killing one at Times Square

The car of 26-year-old driver Richard Rojas appeared to have been drunk was traveling at high speeds at 42nd/7th which was packed with tourists, workers, and many others, deliberately ran over pedestrians.

People were trying to jump out of the way but the car driver was trying to hit as many people as possible. The deceased victim was an 18-year-old female.

The driver of the car had been taken into custody. The law enforcement official said the driver was from the Bronx.
