After Brahmotsavam flopped, superstar Mahesh Babu has agreed to compensate the producer by accepting to do another film under PVP banner.
Although its good move taken by the actor but the earlier experiences does not make the buyers comfortable. Mahesh had earlier done the same for 14 Reels when 1, Nenokkadine didn’t do well at the box-office. He had done Aagadu to compensate, but that didn’t do well either.
Mahesh has once again choose a high on emotional quotient scirt of Vamsi Paidipally , instead of commercial entertainer to record losses. Even if the film get rave reviews , it is going to compensate the overseas distributor and not the domestic buyers . Brahmotsavam has recorded losses of around 36+ cr and Mahesh – Vamsi Paidipally film would do business of another 65 cr (atleast), so the film in their combination should collect 100 crore share to satisfy the buyers who lost in Brahmotsavam project, While Vamsi has no 50 cr film to his credit till date , says a trade analyst.
Meanwhile , Mahesh is currently committed to director A.R. Murugadoss and once that’s over, he might start working for the new film with PVP.
