BS Yeddyurappa takes oath as Karnataka Chief Minister

yeddyBJP leader BS Yeddyurappa took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka on Thursday, following a rare hearing all-night hearing by the Supreme Court.

Yeddyurappa sais,” I am sure of winning the vote of confidence; my government will complete 5 years. I seek the support of all legislators to vote according to their conscience and uphold people’s mandate”.
Governor has invited the single largest party BJP which falls short of strength to the magic figure 112 by 8 MLAs. Yeddyurappa shows the victory sign after being sworn-in as Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Sources say BJP president Amit Shah has reportedly submitted the figure of 113 MLAs. While the opposition Congress and JDS claim to have a full majority with them.
