During Dasara season Gunashekar’s period film Rudhramadevi and Ramcharan’s commercial entertainer ‘Bruce Lee The Fighter’ clashed at Box Office to taste bad results . Rudhramadevi, despite of good reviews failed to earn revenues due to lack of theaters in its second week as Ramcharan’s ‘Bruce Lee’ has occupied most of the theaters. Finally both the films ended in scoring around 40+ crore share , despite of their maximum potential of scoring 50 crore at Boxoffice.
Earlier Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu was pushed to give time to Rajamouli’s Baahubali and the results were very positive . Both the films created sensation at Box Office.
Now, Akkineni Akhil coming for Diwali season , made sure that the film has ample time to fare well at boxoffice. Nikhil Sankarabharanam is also pushed further for Akhil film.
This trend is continuing for sankranthi season also as Nandamuri heroes Balakrishna and Jr NTR, who were supposed to clash are now planning strategically to get maximum out of Holiday season .
