Bonthu Rammohan elected as Hyderabad Mayor

Bonthu Rammohan elected as Hyderabad MayorTRS leader Bonthu Rammohan has been unanimously elected as the new mayor of Greater Hyderabad.

TRS bagged both the post of mayor and deputy mayor in 150 member body by winning 99 seats. Baba Fasihuddin was elected as the deputy mayor.

The 42-year old Rammohan is the president of the youth wing of TRS and strong loyalist of TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao

He was associated with TRS since 2001 and had actively participated in the Telangana movement. As many as 142 cases were booked against him during the movement and was in Cherlapally jail for four months.

He hails from warangal and LLB from Osmania University in Hyderabad and is currently doing PhD.
