Body worn cameras introduced by Hyderabad police

trafficTelangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy formally launched the cameras and handed over to traffic officers.

Commissioner of Police M. Mahender Reddy said. Launching the new body-worn cameras programme for traffic police He said, that this would help in better security and reduction of offences. The body-worn camera was user friendly, having stud moving clip for wearing on the body and simple one click record.

He said, for the first time in India , Hyderabad traffic police have come up by not collecting spot fines , rather just slapping ticket. Non contact enforcements is playing vital role in enforcing traffic regulations during midnight hours.
