The seats sharing between BJP and TDP comes to an consensus after series of meeting between two party leaders including Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy, BJP floor leader in Assembly Dr Lakshman, Khairatabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, Telangana TDP president L. Ramana, Union Minister Sujana Chowdary, for GHMC elections.
TDP had won 45 seat in 2009 elections and BJP had won 5 seats, the seats in which that had won will remain with them while the remaining 100 sesta will be shared between them equally. It means TDP will contest in 95 seats and BJP in 55 seats .
Meanwhile TDP -BJP are organising a grand public meeting at Nizam College grounds on January 12 , AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other union minister would participate in the public meeting at Nizam College Grounds.
Candidates names would be announced only after Jan 12 after the meeting and Nominations would be submitted after Sankranti.
