Actor Nithin gets a relief in a criminal case in the high court. The High Court dismissed a criminal case against Nithin, Nithin’s sister Nikhitha Reddy and his father Sudhakar Reddy that was filed in the Malkajgiri court in Hyderabad.
Gangadhar Satyanarayana, a resident of Sainikpuri, on September 23 last year approached the 20th Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, allegedly cheating by Nithiin’s family over the rights of ‘Akhil’. In his complaint, he alleged that they had taken Rs 50 lakh to give him rights to Akhil.
He appealed the court for criminal proceedings against Nithin, Nikhita Reddy, father Sudhakar Reddy, along with Sreshat movies.The Malkajgiri court has issued notices to the four accused.
In the High Court, A petition has been filed by Nithiin to quash the criminal charges. The case was brought before the Justice M Sathyanarayana Murthy for a trial. Nithiin’s senior advocate Niranjan Reddy argued that the matter was a civil dispute and not a criminal case. Judge after hearing the arguments has dismissed the criminal case against the Nithiin’s family.
