Bangalore riot over new Provident Fund rules

bangaloreIt capital of India, Bangalore riot over the new provident Fund rules as Garment factory workers protest against Govt’s decision of withdrawal of provident fund.

Garment factory workers had a clash with Police, Vehicles were damaged, Police used tear gas shells as protest by garment factory workers in Bengaluru turned violent .

Karnataka Home Minister  G Parameshwar reacting on this protest said, It’s Not intelligence failure, They took enough precautionary steps,senior police officers were monitoring,unfortunately it took a different turn. Police showed more restraint as there were lot of women, If we had taken some serious steps, there would have been more injuries Section 144 announced ,also ordered preventive arrest if someone tries to create problem again tomorrow .

While the protesters were demanding to rollback the new PF rules applied from last month. Protesters gathered in thousands have protested on Mysore-Bangalore Highway,especially on Hosur Road, Tumkur Road, Jalahalli
