Ever since producer Ashwini Dutt publicly announced his intention to produce a sequel to Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (JVAS) a couple of days ago speculations have been rife about who will play the lead role in the movie. The ace producer was felicitating director K Raghavendra Rao at a recent awards show when he made his intention public. K Raghavendra Rao had directed JVAS starring Chiranjeevi and Sridevi in the lead.
The most obvious choice for a lead will be Ram Charan, being the heir to the Chiranjeevi legacy. For the mega fans at least, it would be blasphemous to have any other actor play the role. Now the ball is in Ram Charan’s court. A lot will depend on whether the actor will be interested in working with director Raghavendra Rao. The veteran director hasn’t been on top of his game for a while now. Wonder what Ram Charan thinks of it all.
