Former minister and popular comedian Babu Mohan has not the given up the idea of promoting his son Uday Babu as a hero.
After his debut film “Sri Medaram Sammakka Sarakka Jatara”, Uday could only do one film, but could not make it to the list of successful sons of popular film stars. Like the successors of other popular comedians Brahmanandam and M S Narayana, Uday Babu, too, could not achieve any success.
While his fellow comedians have come to terms with the reality and dropped their plans to project their children on the silver screen, Babu Mohan is still trying to launch his son as an actor, if not a hero. He is trying for a producer who can make a film with Uday. For that, he has decided even to compromise with the remuneration. He reportedly extended an offer to a few young producers that his son would act free of cost if promoted as a hero. Unfortunately, there are no takers for Babu Mohan offers so far, sources say.
