Rajamouli’s Baahubali Re- Release failed at box office in opening weekend approx 2 cr. collections with 1000 screens.
The Hindi version of “Baahubali: The Beginning” has re-released in over 1000 screens on Friday, exactly two weeks before the release of the second part in the franchise on April 28.
With 1000 screens, which means the capacity to earn close to 10 crore was there on a day to day basis and for the weekend it would be 30 crores, but the film has managed to collect only 2 crores.
Terrible weekend for Baahubali re-release
Released in 1000 screens
Collected 2 crore (3 days)
Occupancy 6+ %
Few shows have been cancelled as the theatres lacked minimum occupancy which is not a convincing outcome for Karan Johar who burnt his hands re-releasing the film which was telecasted for numbers of times on TV.
