Arun Jaitley comments on AP issue

He reiterated that they are ready to fund through the special package to Andhra Pradesh.

Jaitley announced that it would not be possible to give a special status and TDP withdrew from the Union Cabinet. With the latest move, Jaitley responded to this decision says. “The Center is always in a position to give a similar package to Andhra Pradesh. But the AP government does not give the full details of the matter. We are constantly waiting for the response from AP to deal with this issue, “Jaitley said.

Speaking at a recent press conference, Jaitley said, “‘Special status’ cannot be given to AP due to The 14th Finance Commission recommendations. Instead, centre is ready to reimburse the state for the revenue deficit.
