Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley laid the foundation stone for the construction of Administrative Complex at Rayapudi village in Guntur district along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union minister Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking on this occasion Jaitely said, Centre would honour all the re-organisation Act assurances and ‘doing justice to Andhra Pradesh is not only political commitment but it was the responsibility of the Centre.
He said, During the two-and-half years, the BJP-led NDA government had granted Rs.2,03,118 crore to Andhra Pradesh and assured that AP would get more benefits within the Special Package than the Special status. He said the centre government is committed extending Rs 2.03 lakh crore funding support to AP. Andhraites are good entrepreneurs. With farmers’ support and new business ventures, AP will further progress in the days to come.
He said BJP led central government has given a corruption free government and if anyone wants to talk about corruption they should talk about UPA corruption.
