The sensational Senior journalist Arnab Goswami resigned on Tuesday as the editor-in-chief of Times Now.
According to reports, he announced his decision during an editorial meeting in which a select group of reporters and editors were present. Arnab told the editorial team that he believes in the media and that he will continue on television. He repeatedly said that ‘The game has just begun’,”
Since Times Now’s launch in 2006, Goswami had led the channel for more than nine years. His debate show ‘The Newshour’ and interview segment ‘Frankly Speaking with Arnab’ were widely popular. The New Hour was commanding over 70 per cent share of the audience .
Son of an army officer, Arnab hails from Assam , he obtained his master degree in sociology at Oxford. He is likely to start his own channel.
