The Andhra Pradesh Government will bring in a new land policy for the state soon. Chief Minister K.Kirankumar Reddy disclosed this today at the Southern Regional Council meeting of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which captains of industry from various state in the Southern region attended to discuss the current state of affairs and prospects for industrialization. The Chief Minister said to bring in transparency in the allotment of land required for the industries in the state, the government would bring in a new land policy. This would be presented in the next cabinet meeting. The chief Minister said the government was also planning for provide various services, including environment clearance and others to the industries through on-line. Talks were being held with the centre in this connection. The Chief Minister asked industry captains to concentrate on rural areas to establish industries like food processing to generate employment locally.
