AP Govt should apologise to Jagan: YSRC

YSR Congress Party today demanded an unconditional apology from State Government for hinting there was no quid pro quo in the matter of issue of 26 GOs for which it was yet to submit a report to the High Court. Party Spokesperson Jupudi Prabhakar Rao told reporters here providing legal assistance to the Ministers who were slapped notices by the Supreme Court over the 26 controversialGOs suggested the government was defending the GOs and there was no quid pro quo involved. If this is the stand of the state, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRC party Chief, his family members and associates were being harassed for the past one year with CBI investigating the issue and framing charges that would be contrary to what the government had to say, he reasoned. Should the State contend that there is no quid pro quo in the GOs case, the harassment Jagan and his family members went through all these days is for nothing and the Government had to tender an unconditional apology, he said.
