The two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to lock horns on buildings of AP government which were vacated recently.
AP govt has shifted to their upcoming capital Amaravathivacting some building including those in the secretariat , the assembly, and the council.
Now the Telangana government claims rights over these buildings, its Chief minister K.Chandrasehkar Rao met the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan with a cabinet request , that passed a resolution requesting that the buildings in Hyderabad which were allocated to Andhra Pradesh be handed over to Telangana.
Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said,Andhra Pradesh government is not using these buildings and hence we have demanded that these be handed over to Telangana.
The other side statements from Vijayawada are in no mood to vacate them without getting something in return.
Since the High Court is yet to be bifurcated, some Andhra officials are still holding to attend to judicial matters.The AP govt is keen on using on the lines of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi.
